Who we are

CHERYL ENGELSMAN, CPB

Owner / Operator

Cheryl is the Head Honcho at Simcoe Office. She founded the company many moons ago and has been growing her client base by providing superior service throughout the years.

As a CPB Certified bookkeeper, she's your go-to Guru for all things accounting. She's smart as a whip when it comes to crunching the numbers and she's got the eyes for accuracy.

Cheryl boasts over 30 years' worth of experience in bookkeeping. She has served a multitude of clients, ranging from not-for-profits to general construction to international organizations. Cheryl holds a General Business diploma with accounting studies at Centennial and Seneca Colleges.

If you're on the phone with Cheryl, you might hear one of her two Bernese Mountain Dog mixes barking away in the background.

LAUREN KLOMPMAKER, CPB

Senior Associate

Lauren joined Simcoe Office Solutions full-time in 2018 after doing part-time work for Cheryl for years. She oversees many of the client accounts at Simcoe Office Solutions, handling everything from reconciliations to year end reporting.

She plugs away behind the scenes at SOS and handles those everyday tasks effortlessly. She's also a fantastic problem solver and a forward-thinker when it comes to handling books, often coming up with great time-saving solutions for her clients. She possesses a strong background in dealership accounting, and studied bookkeeping at Georgian College.

Lauren has also achieved her CPB certification. She's got the integrity, professionalism and competence to handle the full cycle of your business's books, from start-up to year-end.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys embroidery and puzzles.

TAYLOR VANDERBURGH, CPB

Associate

Taylor joined Simcoe Office full time in 2020. She's been working away at the technical side of things by spearheading system overhauls, researching new Apps, upgrading to cloud computing and remote management, and managing social media streams.

She has a diverse background in contracting, consulting, construction, recreation and eCommerce. She received her certificate from Sheridan College for Financial Accounting. She too has her CPB designation and is ready to work on your books!

Taylor has a knack for the creative arts and will often be found crocheting in her off-work hours.
